Wednesday I went to Carla's apartment. We then went to turn in my ugly uniforms. Although I was originally told I could work through next week, on Wednesday they emailed me, saying that I unfortunately had to be terminated (there's got to be a better word for that) that day. That's what I get for not being signed up for summer or fall classes. Then we had a celebratory lunch at Panda Express. She just quit an unpleasant job at a call center, and I was just saved the awkwardness of having to quit my job. Yay? I was going to give them my two-week notice like next week, anyways... After that, we just hung out and watched movies and stuff.
Thursday... I didn't do much at all, at least until around 4:30ish. I went to visit my friend Stephanie. I haven't seen her since her wedding reception. We talked for about two hours. Then her husband came home, and we had dinner. We played Banagrams afterwards. I highly recommend that game. I would buy it for myself, except I'm not willing to cough up the money necessary for the purchase. I am a super-lame college student-- I own no games, no dvds or blu-rays, and I spend the vast majority of my time doing not much of anything. Oh, wait a sec, I'm kinda not really a college student at the present moment. Hmmm....
Today I did... nothing. Surprise. That is, until around 7:30, when I went to a game night. We played Werewolf, which is basically Mafia with a couple extra characters. I'm not a huge fan. There's so much pointless contention. And then I went to my friend's apartment and watched a movie. I've seen Pirates of the Caribbean so many times that I have the script down well enough that I could practically be in the movie. OK, not really... I have no acting skills. But I do love those movies.
My plan for tomorrow: finish movie on Netflix, go to another game night hosted by my roomie from freshman year. I think I'll start sorting through all my crap again, since it all has to go home or be donated. Fun stuff, yeah?
I'm going back home on the 7th of June. Sometimes this whole "holy cow, I'm moving to Europe" kinda comes crashing down on me. Whoa. I don't know when I'm moving to Germany yet. It'll probably be closer to July.
